Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. Titus 1:9
And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. 2nd Timothy 2:24-26
From time to time, we read something in a newspaper or hear something on the radio, an editorial, a newstory, that just cries out for an answer from God's perspective. All Christians are to act as spokesmen for God under the guidance of the Holy Ghost, but with meekness and patience. Our commission is not to win an argument, but to win a brother. Here is a small collection of my modest and primitive attempts to address some of these challenges.
